CITTADINO MASCARATO

(Masked Citizen)

Going around with a mask was not limited to Carnival time, but there were other festivities when people used to wear a mask, such as: S.Marco, Ascension Day, S.S.Vito e Modesto.

So even during summer there were who would gladly wear a mask, sometimes with a different (lighter, for sure!) attire.

In this case it was not anymore the “tabarro”, but a short jacket with short pants, ribbons, lighter and colored socks and a shorter and black painted bauta, with no other decorations.
