Wide view of Venice: Piazza San Marco - Riva degli Schiavoni

Please, can you help me?

Yes I can, and I will, but to a certain extent.

Help is something everybody definitely needs when goes to Venice for the Carnival.

Because everybody wants to make the best out of his/her time, and so the more experienced people in the bunch give away their wisdom or their knowledge so as to make things better for all the others.

The help I can give you, oh brave navigator of cyberspace and future adventurer in Venezia, Italy, located way beyond Hercules' columns, where you will find 90% of the people exactly like you, clueless and desperately lost in a city where almost everybody speaks English, is what I have tried to do here in these pages.

You see no banner on the page, right?
That means I am doing this just out of my love for the Carnival and for you, naive tourist that is about to enter the realm of a great civilization, now a tourist city, and so totally different from most of the experiences you had before.

In the city of Venice there are no Seven Eleven, no parking lots, no Walmart, Just a couple McDonalds (thankgod no more than that).

Few toilets available (be aware of that!) and you will have to redesign your livings standards for a few days ...

Stop thinking SUV, amazon.com, Shopping Mall.

Remember it will be hard to find a place to sit comfortably, and you will have to do something you may not be used to do anymore: WALK.

But I understand it's not really fun to get stuck with the wrong options during carnival time.
Lots of people there, lots of activity.

So I hope you will enjoy the notes I have put here in these page, sorry I won't be able to help you more than this, I'm a busy guy after all, lots of work to do ... need to pay my rent too ...
buy the rights to my carnival pictures, please ...
